White Fang is a novel written by Jack London; it is the sequel to Call of the Wild. White Fang is a fiction book that was set in the 1890’s. The story setting took place in Canada during the Klondike gold rush. The story setting is in third person. White Fang is a well written book, but I did not like it as much as Call of The Wild. I thought it was a little hard to understand. There are two main characters in the book, and they are Kiche and White Fang. White Fang is the main character. His parents are his mother Kiche, also known as She-Wolf, and his father One Eye. The book has a few human characters: Henry, Bill, Gray Beaver, Mit-sah, Beauty Smith, Weedon Scott, Matt, Judge Scott, Jim Hall. There are also a few other important dogs in the book and they are Lip-lip and Collie. The protagonist in White Fang is White Fang himself and the Antagonist is nature and other wolves. It starts with three men and their team of dogs in the Yukon. The dogs eventually start disappearing because they are lured by the Kiche. Eventually only Henry and two dogs are left, and he is almost eaten. After this, the wolves are the only thing that is left and they are in the middle of a famine. Next the Kiche mates with One Eye and has a litter of pups. All of the pups died off except White Fang. Kiche is sold to an Indian but White Fang stays behind with his mother’s master. White Fang is terrorized by other dogs in the village especially Lip-lip. He gets more vicious and starts attacking the other dogs and kills them. He eventually gets severely hurt during a fight with a bulldog and is sold to a man named Beauty Smith. White fang is then passed to a man named Scott and then Scott tames him and takes him back to California. There White Fang mates with Collie and has a litter of
