The new TV series “Game of Thrones” (GoT) is all the buzz, but before it was a TV series it was a book called “A Song of Fire and Ice”. In this book there is a particular character that I connect with and has a lot of vital strengths that are extremely important to the plot. This character is called Ser Davos the onion knight. Ser Davos is important due to 3 particular reasons; his rise to power, his character attributes, him being a living example of justice, and his clear perspective.

After the failure of the siege Stannis Baratheon gave Davos proper justice. He gave him the punishment for breaking the law and smuggling in goods thus cutting off three of his fingers. Yet he also rewarded him for saving Strom’s end and knighted him.
