Who is actually the true monster in the novel Frankenstein? The characterization of a monster is to some degree inhuman, something or someone has no repute for life and nature and that which is virtuous. Nevertheless, the circumstance still vestiges that a true monster is evil, inhumane, and privations penitence of caring for things that a normal, emotional human being should care for. Victor is the one that ought to be characterized as the monster, since he is the one who shows physiognomies of being a monster. A monster is declared as having characteristics of unnatural abnormalities of the nature…antagonistic to others and evil, all of these characteristics are originated in Victor’s nature. For example, God, for Victor believes that “a new species would bless me as its creator and source; many happy and excellent natures would owe their being to me. "I might in process of time… renew life where death had apparently devoted the body to corruption” (Shelley 52). Being a possessive person gives a murderous, psychopathic type of personality, that's how Victor Frankenstein is towards his wife Elizabeth. …show more content…

Another example, that makes Victor as a the monster is that he has a very cruel and hostile attitude towards his creation, in which declares him as a monster. As soon as Victor viewed his creature he immediately abandoned him instead of accepting his creation with open arms ,"unable to endure the aspect of the being he created" (Shelley 42). Victor is not a compassion person or caring person as of like the monster, he is more of a selfish evil
