Who is to blame?
Two star-crossed lovers fell in love with each other one night and knew it was love at first sight. The only problem was that they were never even supposed to talk to each other. In a tragic event, the lovers both died. Who was to blame for Romeo and Juliet? The parents are terrible; families hate each other, and the parents were so terrible that the lovers had to keep their marriage a secret. The Capulets tried to force their daughter to get married to someone she didn't want to get married to. That's why the parents are to blame for the deaths of their children.
One reason the parents are to blame is because the family feud between the Capulets and the Montagues was terrible. In the story, it says, "Oh, noise." Then I'll be quick. Oh, good. A knife! My body will be your sheath. Rust inside my body and let me die. (She stabs herself with Romeo's dagger and dies.) (Shakespeare IV.III) The families didn't even realize what was going on with their children. The only thing they thought about was who could one up each other. They drove both their kids to death just so they could see each other in the afterlife.
