The story of Romeo and Juliet is said to be one of the best romances in history. The story of a boy and girl in love at first sight. Going against society's labels for the two families, they meet against their parents will. What would seem as it would be happy, it ends with the death of 6 people. It is seen as the greatest love story ever written,but in reality isn't it a murder? Then as in all cases such as these it poses the question, “ who is to blame?” I am going to tell you why I believe Tybalt is to blame for the deaths of Romeo ,Juliet, Himself, Mercutio, Paris, And Lady Montague. Tybalt is to blame because of his uncontrolled anger, His impulsiveness, and his misdirection and lack of accuracy of his sword. The anger towards Romeo from the night that they entered the capulet house is the first reason Tybalt is to blame for the 6 deaths. When Tybalt goes seeking revenge against Romeo he instead finds benvolio Romeo's cousin and his best friend Mercutio. You may be thinking “ but Romeo Killed Tybalt how can he be responsible when he is dead?” my answer to that would simply be watching the chain of events. Tybalt was not. During the heat of the fight he went to go stab Romeo with his sword and instead misses him completely, and hits mercutio. With Romeo being so close to him i would think it would be easy to hit him. Tybalt was not trained well enough to be carrying a weapon he clearly didn't know how to use. If he had been well trained he would have hit Romeo resulting in two deaths and much grieve. Instead he wasn't well trained and hit mercutio beginning a whole new war that he would never see the end of anf causes 4 more lives to be lost after
