Tybalt caused Romeo’s death because Tybalt kept fighting with the Montegos. He killed Romeo when he got him banished by killing Mercutio. But some could argue that Romeo got Mercutio killed yes, he did get him killed but if Tybalt had just left the Montegos alone none of it would have happened. As the prince said,” And for that offense immediately we exile him.

Throughout the play many characters cause mental or physical harm to Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet causing tragedy to ensue. In the play, many factors lead to the death of Romeo and Juliet, and several characters are the reason why these lovers die. Lord Capulet and Lady Capulet, and Lord Montague and Lady Montague use their parental expectations to control Romeo and Juliet. Tybalt and Mercutio are responsible for Romeo’s reason to stop living and therefore bring Juliet to her end.

Romeo, one of the main characters, attended a Capulet party when he saw Juliet, another important character, for the first time and was immediately ‘head over heels’. After kissing her, Romeo had to leave but later that night showed up in her yard and they decided they must be married.
