Games Are Good For The Brain There has always been a standing argument that disputes whether or not video games are good or bad for children’s health. There are now studies that specifically target the effects of different types of video games on kids and young adults. VentureBeat has done a study that determined “155 million Americans play video games and that four-out-of-five households own a gaming device of some sort”(North 1). If 80% of households are using something that is argued to be potentially harmful to kids, we now need to understand the good and the bad of the craze. People who have always been against video games need to give them a chance because of all the benefits that they have been giving kids like different skills and mental improvements.
