The purpose of this paper is to explain why cell phones should be used during 10th period for research, listening to music, and for teachers advantage. Research is a tool used for new and old topics. There are alot of sites for any topic being taught. A few examples of that would be practice exams or quizzes. Not only practice exams it can help the student better understand the topic or lesson being taught. Textbooks may not explain the topic while the internet has multiple options for information. Some students learn by hearing, doing, or interacting. The internet (cell phones) can offer learning aids to best support the students needs. WIth cell phones allowed in the class, research can be accessible when needed. Equally important is the use of listening to music on cell phones. For some students listening to music improves their concentration. Classrooms can be loud and listening to music will block out most of the background noise. Additionally listening to music allows the student to stay on task. The music may create focus for the students studies. Regardless of the students playlist, music improves your overall mood. When a student completes their work, they can enjoy themselves instead of being a distraction. The teacher may also reward the student for getting their work done quickly and efficiently by allowing them to play games or read on their phone. Additionally, teachers can use the students cell phones to enhance knowledge by assigning extra credit. Many students prefer to do interactive assignments than pencil and paper. Teachers can start using cell phones to their advantage by using the previous points to make a better
