In August 1939, a month before World War II began, Albert Einstein figured out that the Nazis had found a way to make Atomic bombs. Albert Einstein wrote a letter to President Franklin D. Having the knowledge of how to create atomic bombs would be enough to start trying to create our own. Having that massive destructive power would be handy to have later on in the future. The letter was before the war started, so the United States could have been thinking about the war soon to come. Even with our resources being inferior, Albert Einstein addresses where there is good ore. Those places are Canada and former Czechoslovakia.
