The New Testament is the reality, substance and fulfilment in the person and work of Jesus Christ. The New Testament does not annul the Old Testament instead it fulfils the Old Testament. Achtermeier et al asserts that revelation is through Jesus Christ. The individuals in the Old Testament were prophetic of Jesus Christ.
