The Holocaust was a period of discrimination, immoral actions, and devastation. The Holocaust initiated January 30th, 1933 and lasted until May 8, 1945. Adolf Hitler came into power of Nazis selection in 1903. He specifically targeted the Jewish people because of their dissimilarities in faith and appreance. While Hitler possessed his dictatorship, six million Jewish lives were taken by hard work, lack of food, and death in medical experiments.
In 1933, Adolf Hitler set out that the world would be a better place if there was no Jews. (Military Leader, Dictator:) He made it seem like the Jews were seen as a threat towards the German race. All of this started when the German community was defeated in WW1, and Hitler blamed the Jews. ( Military Leader, Dictator:) The Germans believed it, so Hitler started prisoning the Jews one by one, including children.
According to Hitler and the Nazi party, the Jewish community weren’t people and they were just objects. Hitler found the Jewish community unpleasant and a disgrace to the world.
The Holocaust is considered one of the most notable events to happen in human history. Adolf Hitler’s plan was to exterminate all races of which he thought was inferior to his master race, The Aryan Race. To effectively kill them, he made concentration camps where the prisoners would be worked to death. Sadly, most of the races targeted and killed were the Jews. They were blamed for everything such as World War I and World War II.

WW2 was one of, if not the worst war to ever take place on this earth. Millions of people died during the war, and most of them were because of discrimination against certain people or races. The Jews in Germany were treated harshly during this time, and the blacks in America were no different. The treatment of Jews in Germany was very similar to the segregation of blacks in America. The Nazis were inspired by the segregation in America, and although similar, it is easy to see why the Nazis treated the Jews worse than America treated the blacks.
I think the author's purpose for writing this book is to not discriminate against people and what race or religion they are, to inform people who read the book about what happened during the holocaust and to show that some people were uninformed about what was actually going on during that time. In the book, Bruno, the main character, moves to a house right outside of the camp and meets a boy named Shmuel. Shmuel is on the other side of the fence, and Bruno does not understand that Shmuel is trapped and is being treated terribly. He also doesn’t see Shmuel as different, like most people did during the years of the holocaust, and I think that’s one way the author tried to tell us that not everyone was informed about what was actually going on,
Using hatred as a way to rally the German population to their cause, the Nazi Party was able to advance the elimination of Jews. The anger and hate of the Jews induced fear in others who were afraid for their own safety. Fear of the Jews themselves allowed a path to anger, which would lead to hatred and the suffering of others. Yoda’s quote from Star Wars, “Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger.
The Holocaust was an execution of 8 million Europeans, and “ 6 million of the Europeans killed were Jewish women, children, and men that were brutally murdered” (Strahinich 7). It “was a catastrophe in our modern history” (Strahinich 7) now staining our history pages with hundreds of innocent people’s blood, forever lost in the grounds of the Holocaust. It took “place in Poland, Lithuania, Belarus, Latvia, and Czechoslovakia” (Altman 9) is some of the places where hundreds died. Thanks to “Adolf Hitler” (Strahinich 8) and “the Nazis government” (Strahinich 10), they “plunged most of Europe” (Allen 7) into turmoil, taking lives that did not need to go.

The most important thing in life is justice. It is vital that justice is being served in society because each individual must be treated in a fair manner. Justice enables good to occur and restorative justice empowers those who have done wrong maintain peace throughout every community. Serving justice promotes a safe environment, and if we were deprived of justice, immoral acts would not be seen as wrong.
Gender is a socially devolped meaning of ladies and men .It is not the same as sex (traits of women and men) .
