Have you ever thought if the Panama Canal was built for a good reason? Well, I will tell you. The Panama Canal has a lot of purposes of why it was built. It has a history. An economic, commercial, and military importance.

Some of the purpose why it was built the Panama. A number of ship, passenger, and cargo use to travel through the Panama Canal every year. Long-range of 14,000 ships, 400,000 of crew members, and 300,000 passenger have traveled through the canal in the year 1955. A clear increase was saw in 1996, with per day averages of 42 and a total average of 15,000 ships traveled from one edge to other edge of the canal. Cargo ships and other specialized ships traveled cross the Canal every year. Commonly passing ships quantum carriers that carrier's grain, ore, and liquids along with; automobile carriers; containers ships; tanker; liquid gas carriers and also passenger liners. This canal is also used to by many naval vessels, bring up, fishing boats, barges along with ocean going tugs.
