America became a global superpower because it was the only one that actually made a profit of the war. By, the time the war was over the United States was a fairly populated nation with 1.5 million standing army by the time the war was finished. America’s infrastructure remained relatively unscathed. The reasons the other nations didn’t prosper like America was because the U.S. playing fields barley got touched while, all the other nations land was getting destroyed in every way. After the Allies finally got victory, America thought that it was the right time to ensure that there was fair treatment on opposite sides when the Treaty of Versailles was being drawn up for them to sign. It was ineffective but, in doing so the U.S. was obtaining the diplomatic experience which, was necessary for them to becoming a global superpower. World War 2 is the most tragic and unforgettable was of all time. Millions of people died during the war but, there was more deaths in concentration camps then, anywhere else. With many technologically advanced weapons and machines, it made a huge landmark for America. World War 2 marked the United States official rise to power. Not only did the U.S. fight it’s own battle with Japan, but at the same time America was helping the allies in waging their fight in Europe.
