What did the U.S. lose in the Vietnam War?
In Vietnam the United States lost these three things; resources, U.S. citizens going to the war and dying, and false information.vietnam and the united states lost money 1955-1975. The united states also lost a bunch of u.s.citizens who signed up to fight for their country. The united states also lost because of false information because it was getting passed a bunch of people and it is different from one person to the next.

The United States lost a lot of money during the Vietnam War. Every war any country goes into it cost a whole lot of money. Every year that the United States was in the war they lost $25 billion each year. For the entire war the U.S. spent $168 billion on military operations to help try to win the war. Also during the war the U.S. spent $28.5 billion on economic and military aid to help with the war and the money if they don’t have enough. The U.S. set aside $350 to $900 billion for veteran benefits who was in the vietnam war.

Many americans did not support the war because Japan bombed Pearl Harbor and that led the U.S. into the Vietnam war(Second Indochina war). The Vietnam war was terrible. The U.S. didn’t want to associate with Japan so for Japan to get back at the Americans was to bomb a base. …show more content…
