Some of the different types are: glittering generalities, testimonial, name calling, plain folks, transfer, and card-stacking. Testimonial propaganda is when a famous and/or important figure endorses a product. This particular technique is often used by many companies to convince the many fans of the celebrity they are using to get their hands on whatever product they are advertising.
