People interpret things differently; that’s why we need to watch what we say. Emoji’s are meant to make conversations fun, but they aren’t always appropriate. An emoji can be sent in a playful way but the receiver can take it in a negative way.
Emoji’s aren’t always appropriate. In class we talked about “why emoji’s shouldn’t be used in a professional email”. Emoji’s can convey that you aren’t taking what you’re writing serious. People should completely stay away from them when it comes to important things like emailing your boss, and emailing a colleague. Like I said people interpret things differently.
