Here, in legislature each and every executive heads are superior and some are elected directly by people while some are appointed by governor. State government has a control over the local. Politicians at state level make rules and regulations that are implemented at local level. Therefore, it would not be wrong to say that state government has a direct control over the local control. Kaibawhite also wrote that the amount of money Texas representatives and Texas senators receive form those oil and gas company are in millions. Although people elect those political representatives so that they can do better for the people and state but what they do is completely opposite. Rather than standing for the people they stand with and for the investors that help them during their campaign contributions.
