Your vote doesn't count. It just doesn’t. It should though. I believe that the way votes are counted toward presidential elections is the wrong way. The way they are counted makes it so my vote doesn't count. You here on the radio, TV, and other forms of media telling you to go vote but what they don't tell you is that your vote doesn't really matter. While your vote does matter in local elections it still doesn't change the fact that it is well known that a vote just doesn't matter. My vote and your vote should count. Why it needs to be changed is self explanatory. The electoral college is not he proper system.

As Americans we have a lot of freedoms. We have the abilities to go out and wear what we want without the possibility of getting in trouble for it. We also have the ability to chose who we want to represent our states and cities. We also think we have the choice to pick our next president. We really don’t. It does that by incentivizing the parties to write off the more than 40 states including the District of Columbia that they know they either cant win or cant lose. By doing this it makes it so they go after the bigger states such as California, Texas, and New York, with that being said they also go after Minnesota because it has had the highest voter turnout. There are of course people who think that it should stay the same or people who just don't care about the Presidential election for which ever reason. To them I really want them to think about it. What if because you didn't vote for president or anything else something would directly effetely. You have a voice and it needs to be heard. You have the power to chose what happens to your life. You can chose who represents you and your beliefs. By you voting for something you may not even care about or do care about can effect your area and your
