Why Exotic Animals Carry Diseases

Exotic animals should not be pet’s, well unless you have a death wish that is. Even if you have a death wish, which you shouldn’t, you still should not own exotic animals as a pets. Exotic animals carry diseases. “According to the central disease control, exotic pets can pass on and infect humans with a variety of diseases including the Herpes B virus, Rabies, Salmonella, Ebola, Monkeypox.” (Sylvain Gamel) Those are only a few of the diseases that exotic pets carry. You can get very sick from having an exotic pet because of all the diseases they carry. Exotic animals are wild. They do not adjust well to a captive environment. “They require special care, housing, diet, and maintenance that the average person cannot provide.” (Michele C. Hollow)
