Everybody loves sleep. Who does not? It makes you feel refreshed, rejuvenated and ready to start the day. Unfortunately, we have time changes. It's hard for everyone to get used to losing and hour of sleep or gaining an hour of sleep. Especially for teenagers. Research has shown that teenagers experience a change in their internal sleep clock so that waking up early and going to sleep early are difficult. What do you think? Should high school classes begin later in the day and end later in the day to accommodate students' natural sleep clocks? I think that high school classes should begin and end later in the day because students would be well-rested and more alert, it would give students more time to get prepared, and it would give students more time to study for their classes. …show more content…
It has to be hard for teachers having to deal with their pupils falling sleep in class all the time. If students fall asleep in class, what do they learn? No work gets done, which means grades drop tremendously. If school started and ended later in the day, teachers and students would not have to worry about grades dropping because students would be alert and ready to learn. Another reason I think high school classes should begin and end later in the day is it would give students more time to get prepared. It is a hassle trying to get everything together in the morning. Even if you think you have everything, you end up leaving it. Why? Lack of sleep. Your brain does not function properly which causes forgetfulness. Nobody likes to be late, because you end up missing something in class and just have to make it up. If it were me, I would want to be
