I possess an insatiable thirst for knowledge and eagerness for intellectual challenge. This why I fell in love for MUN and enjoyed every second of my first conference. I am interested in becoming a MUN officer because I believe that I can contribute greatly to the club as a whole with my ideas and devotion, so I give other a memorable and successful throughout their participation in conferences and club activities. I know that I am ready to accept the responsibilities of an officer and will put forth my best effort to ensure that meetings are carried out efficiently, and all concerns from members are addressed to the best of my ability. I propose the creation of a SCHS MUN website that contains a general overview of what MUN is all about, as well as bio’s of the current officers, descriptions of various committees, information on upcoming workshops and competitions, and extra resources. The accessibility of this website would benefit both aspiring members and current MUN members greatly. I would also like to introduce “MUNdays” in which all members of the club wear their MUN shirts every Monday throughout the months including conferences. Not only does this directly advertise the club to students within the school, but it shows the unity of the club in all of its members, welcoming students who may be hesitant to join MUN in fear that they won’t find their place in the club.
