The United States Marine Corps, a branch of the U.S. Armed Forces trained for land, sea, and air combat, made to protect us against all threats, Foreign and Domestic. The USMC was born November 10, 1775 to help the Navy during the Revolutionary War. On July 11, 1798, The Marines were fully made into a branch of the Military, directed under the Secretary of the Navy. I want to learn the specifics and prerequisites to join the Marine Corps, how much it pays, and the duties I will be completing. I chose the USMC as a career mainly to protect and serve my country, but also, to carry on a family tradition. Many of my family members have been apart of the marines or other branches of the armed forces. In order to join the marines, you must be prepared. The training you need to join the Marines require that you pass Basic Training, Which involves physical testing to see your capabilities, as well as the MCT (Marine Combat Training) which teaches

There are plenty of ranks and roles to strive to in the Marines, getting to these positions take a lot of work and some luck as well. The ranking system only allows for an allotted amount of people to be in a rank at a time, “The Marines limit this on their own.
