Chapter 11 was a very useful chapter for me to read. Although I have read and known most of what chapter 11 was talking about, I still enjoyed to read it because I am at a point in the semester where I am getting bored and delaying tactics. I am beginning to hang out with friends more than using my time in the library or at home studying. I was not as excited about my classes as I was in the beginning of the semester, but reading chapter 11 put me back on track and I found more motivations about school as I had before reading the chapter. I find myself finishing my work faster because I do not take long breaks between my studies. Nobody Interrupts me because it’s very quiet and I hear nothing to be uncomfortable with. The environment is very nice at the library because the computers, books, and the people remind me of what I am there for. At home I still get my work done, but it takes me double the time then when I am in the library. I hear the TV most of the time along with conversations outside of my room that distract me from focusing. I find myself going through my phone every 10 minutes when I am at home because I get bored very fast. If I don’t go to the library or home to study, my third place would be at my friend’s house. We don’t get distracted by our phones and I do like it because I have a “study buddy” to study with. Time goes very fast and we finish before we know it. The only negative part in going to my friend’s house to study is that most of the time we get distracted by each other and we start talking about everything beside studying. We don’t study with each other all the time, the only times that we do is when we have an easy project to work on. That way we can have fun while we finish our work.
