I believe equality is worth fighting for. It can be shown in many ways, but it is not. Society has made people believe that it is okay to treat people different because the way they look or by what color they are or their sexual preference. Being treated with respect is what people want and expect, but they do not always show it themselves. Equality should be shown through all people because it such an expected manner but never taken upon to be changed.
In the act of equality everyone should be treated the same, but in reality that is not what is going on. Not everyone gets treated the same. Being treated like a human is something that you would not think is something to have to fight for. Are they being treated as if they are important? Depending on who they are friends with or who they hang around depends on if they are going to be treated right. Well, that is wrong to others that have to try so hard to be treated with respect. We as people deserve to live the way we chose. We live in america the land of the free. Day by day we live by society and the judgement of our differences. The point is that we all should have the same rights as anyone else.In reality we do have the same rights but society has made it to believe that we are not. One should not be treated differently because they are not the prettiest or the nicest looking person. That is one of the main problems that society has come to. Men and women have certain problems that society has made for them. The society has gotten so used to saying rude things about others that they do not even realize what they are doing. There are so many ways that people could be treated as an equal but it is rarely shown. To me, Being equal is worth fighting by any means
