Why Is Everyone An Outsider

Is not everyone an outsider? Humans are social creatures and when isolated, either physically or socially, they tend to feel like outsiders. This feeling has no with, color, or height it is simply something we all experience and have to live through because we can feel in the first place. At one point or another in life everyone will and probably, the exception being babies, has already felt like an outsider the experience is common even. Ellipses is a poem that puts on display common ideas and things people share and a line that deals with the way adults respond to the other adults making them outcasts and how they can only say, “wish they weren't so…”( ). This quote deals with the fact that adults who get this outsider mentality can feel out of control in their lives and can simply only hope for improvement, it gives an inside perspective to how another person feels about being an outsider and how they cope with the feeling of isolation.
