Though there are many people who could be considered America’s most influential figure, George Washington is the best American figure because of how he influenced America socially, economically, and politically. One of the biggest ways he socially influenced America was when he established November 26th as the official day for Thanksgiving. signed a copyright law that protected the copyright of authors.
