World War Two was a long extended period of fighting, Grief, and Death. Allied forces slowly gained naval and air fights in the Pacific. Soldiers had to deal with harsh rain conditions, Mud, and Humid heat. US soldiers were not prepared for the heat condition, and they had to carry equipment everywhere they went. In conclusion of this war, World War 2 was the most destructive war in world history. Technologies in weapons, transportation, communications and medical developed at a faster rate than the military strategies and planning. Nationalism was certainly a part of this, particularly by the Germans and Japanese, but also affecting the Soviet and the American actions. Because of the development of technologies, the death toll of world war 2 was 4 times more than world war 1. With an unsettling number of 63 million people.
