Our FDA has been holding back the cure to a disease that has affected 29.1 million people! You may be thinking there is no way anyone could do this. If you think that you must be forgetting something called money. The FDA not giving up that they have the cure for diabetes and it is getting them and saving them a LOT of money and it would take a lot of time that people might not feel is worth putting in. But you would think that someone would find out and tell everyone, right? You would think that selling the cure at a crazy price would be enough profit for them to be happy. Well if you think that then think of all the money they earn now by selling all of the small things that everyone buys to stay alive. Like the pumps, pods, insulin, meters, test strips, and they have to buy all that one’s every month. Even though the cure would cost more it would most likely be a 1 and done thing but the consistence of their income from the little things is making them more money than that would. Also all the time and effort that would have to be put into a project like that because they need to ship it everywhere so people can actually buy it. They would need to see which pharmacies would want to sell the cure and at what price or if they don’t want to sell it. Then then can’t just ship it everywhere they would need to make enough for them to be able to ship it everywhere and that would take even more time to make enough to give everyone who wants it.
