I chose this course because to graduate I needed a literature class and I looked through my options and this class was one option that I could take but I also decided to take it because I found the title interesting "introduction to the Bible" and it made me remember when my family and I read the bible together. also, when my mom made me read it almost every night when I was younger because we were very religious. I do no longer read the Bible as I use to do before but I found it interesting to learn more about the Bible and I think in this class I would be able to learn more it.

It is important to read it, study it, practice it and share it; so that we have a better relationship with others and a close bond with God. There are many cases of people who have changed their lives and known Jesus, by reading the Bible. Each book it contains is a source of wisdom, and its teachings apply to any generation. I can also say that it is the word of God in writing, and therefore it is the basis of faith. When reading the Bible we can access the possibility of knowing and becoming familiar with the life of God, his example and exemplification of how he wants us to lead our lives, being good people, loving our neighbor, and above all being able to forgive as He did it and he does it with us. In this way, the Bible becomes relevant as a guide in the life of faith; but also, it is the door of access to a fundamental growth in the grace of Jesus Christ, and therefore to a deep growth as a person. Every human being is governed by the influences of their environment, by what they listen to, what they see and what they learn through the teachings of parents and educators. We must take great care of what kind of influences we want for our life, bearing in mind that the world we live in is too corrupt, immoral and decomposed. but I can say that the influence of the Bible is the best influence we can allow in our lives and in our family because it is the only one that brings us closer to God and teaches us how to live better. The Bible has the authority and is the manual of life of the Creator for its creation. It is important to read the Bible because through it we know the will of God for us, we break old paradigms, we generate change in our lives, we transform difficult circumstances, we learn to overcome adversity, we grow spiritually, we release tensions, we acquire the power to perform miracles and we renew our mind. But the word of God also teaches us the truth, frees us from the bondage of sin, directs our steps, corrects our bad attitudes, teaches us to resist temptations and the devil, gives us security and protection, reveals the promises of God allows us to discover our purpose in life, guides us to make wise
