The book The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton begins with a lot of conflict between two groups the Greaser and the Socs. The Greasers are lower class people and the Socs are high-class people. These two groups don’t get along very really because of the Greasers and in a lower class. One of the main carters Johnny was killed a Socs. Johnny is not justified in what he did and is guilty because he had a weapon on him, he killed the wrong person, and he fled the crime scene.
