There is a serious matter of gun control, everyone has the right to bear arms, but bear them legally, safely, and intelligently. America needs a serious reality check when it comes to gun control, starting with the fact that the government needs to implant stricter gun control measures.
In this world, there are too many people that have died from guns. Some of them have died in large-scale attacks, some of them were in a gun accident. Many want more gun control laws to be passed. In fact, the gun control law must be passed through, because this can be more effective to protect people. people always thinking if they have a gun, they can protect themselves.

In conclusion we should have better gun control. There are roughly 32,000 gun deaths per year in the United States. That’s a big number of deaths. There should be a law were every gun how has ever been checked out or bought to have a number and if stole they have to report about just in case someone is trying to use it for the something bad. For the better and the sake of our planet we should have better gun control considering it will save a lot of lives.
People can now buy assault rifles which they used in the war, but anyone can purchase them and shoot others. Therefore i have came to the conclusion that guns should have more gun control for all the reasons guns are not safe. Those reasons contain that we should not have guns are, little kids could get ahold of them. People can use guns as weapons which leads to assault and murder.
Gun control has been a controversial issue for many years. Many citizens believe that if gun control is strictly enforced it would reduce the threat of crime. People have the right to bear arms for protection, or even just the pleasure of hunting and recreational activity. With the recent events involving firearms and mass shootings, people are skeptical whether to increase or decrease gun laws. Americans have a constitutional right to own handguns and stricter laws and licensing will not effectively save lives.
Amendment two in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights grant the people or citizens of the United States of America the freedom to own guns and the guns cannot be taken away. In December, 1791, Amendment two was ratified and granted citizens freedom by being able to keep and bear Arms (Brooks, The Second Amendment & the Right to Bear Arms). Amendment two is important to the Constitution and the Bill of Rights because the give citizens the right to keep and bear Arms, allows citizens to become safer, and the Amendment helps citizens protect their families and relatives incase of emergencies without being forced to give up their guns. Creating stronger gun control laws will cause much more harm to the American people than it will good. Gun restrictions are a huge debate in today’s society. It is constantly said that if we had more gun restrictions, then America’s violence and crime rates would go down. When examining statistics between cities with very strict gun laws compared to those whose restrictions are lax, there is a noticeably higher rate of crime found within the cities whose gun restrictions are tighter. In 2012 the CRS released a report showing that the number of privately owned guns has gone up by 56% since 1994; coincidentally gun related homicides have gone down by 49% as well.
Gun control has been a national issue for decades, if not centuries. The founding fathers created the Second Amendment that protects the right of the people to keep and bear arms. This amendment was passed as part of the Bill of Rights and simply recognizing something that has existed or will continue to exist in the future. It was also another check on the government, if the people had no weapons to rebel against them, the government can oppress them easily and would make it easier for the government to assemble militia in a time of war. This Second Amendment doesn’t also mean that the people can’t have some measure of control in these extremely dangerous weapons.
Anyone that thinks gun control is the answer to the killing that is going on is wrong! Nothing will change until parents start teaching their children right from wrong. Gun Control is too much of a political something you do to win a battle or to get what you want and failing. Politicians talks about the need to increase gun restrictions to stop gun crime, but new and current gun laws are designed to fail in order to allow certain people to own them and make unhappy because of not having a vote others.
America Needs Gun Control Once said by former American politician Eliot Spencer, “Yes, people pull the trigger, but guns are the instrument of death. Gun control is necessary , and delay means more death and horror.” His remarks mean that gun control will reduce tragedies. While gun control will affect law-abiding citizens also, gun control will limit people from getting guns and will lessen mass shootings.
The asinine idea of gun control Gun violence in America isn’t a gun problem it’s a people problem. By limiting access of firearms you limit the freedoms and right to protect yourself and the ones you love. Not only are the rights of the people being infringed but banning firearms is unconstitutional and unfair to the people. I find it very interesting that people high up in our political system are still so blind to the facts. Less than 1% of all gun crimes are used with legally obtained firearms.
Between 2000 and 2015, over 150,000 Americans were killed in gun related homicides (Zakaria). It has been estimated that there are over 310 million guns in the hands of United States citizens (Krouse). These statistics have rallied many gun-control opponents and proponents to action. Gun control opponents believe that the answer to this problem is to loosen gun control laws to dissuade potential shooters. Gun control proponents believe that the answer is to tighten gun control laws so that a gun is never put into a potential shooter’s hands.
The use of and the owning of guns is a very hot and debated topic in society today. For many, this is a life and death debate due to the recent and numerous school shootings. These school shootings have caused an outcry for more gun control, specifically in relation to the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting. Despite these calls, increased gun control is not the answer. Most gun owners’ use their guns responsibly and for good purposes.
Aren’t you tired of hearing on the news that someone has died behind a gun incident. Eighty eight point eight per one-hundred people or about two hundred seventy million guns which is highest total per capita number in the world. Twenty-two percent of Americans own one or more guns thirty percent men and twelve percent women. Gun control needs to be more improved in order to save lives. I think that they should be stricter because people think that laws do not need to be stricter because that means more trouble if someone tries to defend themselves.
