Why is the O.J simpson case so controversial first i’m going to tell you a little bit about the case so you get a good insight on what happend, then i’m going to talk about the evidence in the case and my thoughts around the trial.
The O.J. Simpson case is on of the most controversial lawsuit in modern history.
O.J. Simpson was tried on two counts of murder for the June 12, 1994, deaths of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and restaurant waiter Ronald Goldman.
The trial began January 24, 1995 and lasted for 134 days. Los Angeles Police department with Christopher Darden argued that Simpson killed his ex-wife in a jealous rage. The prosecution opened its case by playing a 9-1-1 call from Nicole Brown Simpson on January 1, 1989.

When your convincing a jury it’s all about having the best story to tell. Said Robert Shapiro, the main lawyer from “the dreamteam” Which was what they called the Simpson team. Simpson had hired nine great lawyers to help him in the case.
Making a story the jury would hear was what The dream team had in mind, and to get sympathy he used his rase as an advantage and as a tool.
The suppression of the black community was in his trial used as a lot and became their main argument.
The Simpsons case was viewed as an controversial trial based on several reasons. The main reason was the rase issues in the case. Mark Fuhrman was a discussed police officer cus of his racism behavior. He had many accusers for hitting and mistreating black peoples.
