During the North American colonial period many events happened, that led to the most important events in United States history. For example the American Revolution was caused by many events leading up to it, if there was not a revolution then we would not be what we are right now. In other words everything happens for a reason As there was important affairs, there was also the events that has the today’s people thinking thinking “What in the world were they thinking?”. The Salem Witch Trials is an occasion where it may have people asking themselves this question. Out of those twenty people there was two infant children that were killed. These were innocent kids who did not know any better. In 1693 a group of young girls made invalid accusations of being possessed by the devil, which was caused by women who were supposedly doing witchcraft. Many people did not think to not believe these young girls. The accusations of these young women caused the deaths of twenty people, as from that day on anyone who did not meet their society’s standards was considered a witch. If it was not for these young girls stating that they had been possessed then all the problems that happened would have not occurred. It was most probable that the people that were killed were innocent as people back in the day did absurd tests in order to prove if they were witches or not. Not only that but they were most likely innocent because they even killed two infant children. Why in the world would children who do not know any better use witchcraft? This just makes you think about how unfair these trials
