The better choice according to the juvenile would be to go to juvenile court because their sentence would be shorter. I believe no matter what age you are, and you commit a crime that makes you deserve to be in prison for a very long amount of time, you should be sent to the Adult Criminal Justice System. Prosecutors who are in charge of criminal offenses, are given the power to choose whether a certain child should be charged as an adult in the juvenile court or the adult system.
