For example, Jackson got the US out of national debt, responded to the nullification crisis, and was a national hero for his service in New Orleans. Even though Andrew Jackson had accomplish great issues with the nation, he also made many mistakes. For instance, Jackson was a slave owner, disagreed with paper money, and he moved all the Native Americans out of their homes to be pushed West. In general, Andrew Jackson should not judged by the values of today society, since times are different today.
