There are many reasons why I think the age for voting should change. In able to vote you should at least be 21, because you become more mature. When your a teen and possibly in high school you’re immature. Do you really think immature teens should be voting about political reasons? Well I don’t so let’s raise the voting age. High school kids should not vote for political arguments, even if you’re just out of high school. Kids need more time to grow up and to make decisions like voting or anything like that. So there is a reason why they don’t let young people vote, they are not old enough. They need to wait until they’re grown. There are lots of reasons why young people should not be voting until they are older. But think about teenagers don’t even want to vote for political reasons, they are still kids and they want to do what they want and have fun. Most kids don’t care about those kind of things, they want to do their own thing. I honestly think this has a big reason why the young voting turnout is getting lower and lower. So if they don’t even want to vote yet why lower the voting age? That’s why it should be raised to at least 21 if not older than
