To start, The Tile of the book is called Wild swan three daughter of china. The main Idea of the novel is about Jung Chang and. her mother and grand- mother her life living in the twentieth century in China. The Main characters that the books talks about are :The Great- father Yang Ru-shan , Great- mother Er-ya-tou and Yu-fang Grandmother, General Xue Zhi- Heng Grandmother’s husband, Boa Qin Mother and Dr.Xia Manchu Doctor , Lan Yu fang’s Sister. Well the story is full with high and low the book is very interesting about is that it’s a page turner.
Chapter one is where the story begin in Yixian year 1909-1933. Jung Chang great-grandfather was Yang Ru-shan, born in 1894 as the single boy. Yang Ru-shan married at fourteen to a woman six years …show more content…

Finally with the help of Premier Zhou Enlai, Jung Chang’s father no longer served in detention. While in detention the guard watching over Jung Chan’s father plays mind games with him and convinces him that his wife created a conspiracy against him. Things got out of hand causing them to sleep in seperate areas and forces Jung Chang’s father’s mental and physical health to deteriorate (which later, his health imporved). Luckily her friends did not tell on Jung Chang which relates back to the title of the chapter, “Giving Charcoal in the Snow”, that refers to helping out others when needed.
