Each character displayed in the breakfast club played a significant role in showing how individuals from varies backgrounds can relate to other another. John Bender is considered the criminal of the group. He is known as a bully and trouble maker with no regard for authority. Bender seems to be desperate for attention which could explain his behavior. His reputation as being tough and a jerk perceives him.

To paraphrase, she suggested Mr. Trump embrace the fact that there are many, many intelligent, articulate, strong women in our country - some of whom he should place on his staff to help run our country if he 's elected. Breakfast Club was a very interesting film to watch. It was funny, but at the same time it contained a lot of thinking questions that we have talked about in class. Looks can be deceiving because no one has is completely good or easy. This was proven in the film when all of the characters began talking about their lives, and they all realized they all had it very hard and challenging in their own ways.
Do The Right Thing (1989): Extra Credit Assignment Spike Lee’s Do the Right Thing is a 1989 film about the disagreements in an African American community in Brooklyn, New York. The film shows a tragic day in which the weather is unbearably hot. There is extreme racial tension in the film between the African American, Puerto Rican, and White members of the community. There is a fight at the famous Sal’s Pizzeria between a character named Radio Raheem and the owner, Sal.
Spike Lee's Do The Right Thing is a film made in 1989 depicting racial conflict in Brooklyn New York during the 80's. The plot involves a group of African Americans, Italians and a Korean couple who live in the same block. There are multiple themes that tie in together in the film, one being the animosity and racism the characters feel towards each other throughout the film. The director makes the theme clear in the film by the conflicts that arise between the characters. An example of this is when Radio Raheem is buying a pair of batteries for his radio at the Korean’s store.
Imagine giving up all your possessions and going into the wild with nothing but the bare necessities. Most people would turn away at the idea of it, but Chris McCandless found the allure of the wilderness greater than the risk. According to the book Into the Wild, “No longer would he answer to Chris McCandless; he was now Alexander Supertramp, master of his own destiny.” (23) McCandless’s life was filled with family problems, and he wanted to truly find himself in the depths of the Alaskan wilderness. He knew that his journey could very easily result in his death, but he didn’t care.

On July 20, 2016, Florida Senator Marco Rubio spoke to the Republican National Convention about democratic presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton. Being a former candidate for president himself, Rubio seems to understand what is being discussed. In his speech, Senator Rubio gives reasons as to why Mrs. Clinton is not fit to be the next President of the United States. “Hillary Clinton has spent her lifetime on the inside of a rigged political system that puts special interests ahead of the American people.” (Rubio 2016)
In the novel, The Help, by Kathryn Stockett, there are many characters that can be identified as an antagonist throughout the story. However, Hilly Holbrook is the most significant of them all. With her attitude towards colored people, her controlling personality, and the methods she uses in order to have her way, it is obvious that Ms. Hilly is a definite villain of this novel. In the novel, many white families, including Ms. Hilly’s, had hired African American maids to help them around the house.
ANineteen days ago, the state of New Orleans NFL football team lost one of their own. Saturday night, April 9, 2016, Cardell Hayes shot Will Smith to death after a hit and run turned into a car chase, and leaving Smith’s wife, Racquel, wounded in the leg. The couple were married for eight years and had two children together. Video shows an apparent hit and run involving who looks like the retired Saints player Will Smith and Hayes ' vehicles about two-and-a-half blocks from the site of the second crash and shooting. Hayes claims he was standing his ground against Smith.

This paper will review the character of Randle McMurphy from the movie One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. By utilizing the DSM-5 criteria for Personality Disorders Randle could be diagnosed as Antisocial Personality Disorder because of the behaviors he exhibited throughout the movie.
