I entered this class with the primary goal to develop as a leader in Women's Fellowship Ministry. The goals I have set for myself the past few weeks have established a foundation for me to build upon in the second half of the course. First I knew that I needed to meet with my supervisor at least one time each week to set goals and determine what is needed to be effective in this process, I appreciate the knowledge of my peers and those that are already seasoned in ministry. I have taken measures to grow in planning, coordinating, and implementing fellowship meetings for women in the Church.
Observation is key to my learning and developing the skills that I will need to begin a responsible role in Women’s Fellowship. I have spent several weeks in the wings of Church Leadership observing the proper order of Women’s Fellowship services and activities. I have also gone over some ideas that I would like to implement in the future as God allows me to initiate Women’s Fellowship meetings. Everyone that I have met graciously allows me to observe and take notes for the purpose of development in this area of ministry. I have been very appreciative of the insight that imparted to me during this experience.

The hope is to encourage woman to exemplify the character of Christ in their homes, on their jobs in their general day-to-day living. Although the modern day church has largely come away from the role of “Mother’s” in the body of Christ as Godly examples and teachers of the younger women.
