Sacagawea was known as Bird Woman, Boat Pusher, Chief Woman, Lost Woman, and Grass Woman in different tribes across the Louisiana perchase territory. Her nickname on the expidition was Janey, this was given to her by William Clark due to her inspiring strength and serviceSacagawea not only attended an important expedition of the Louisiana Territory with her husband, child, Lewis, and clark, but she also was looked up to by many Native Americans and Lewis and Clark themselves. Her peaceful and determined efforts on the Lewis and Clark expedition gravely helped the mission become a success. A dog is a man’s best friend- a lot of people. Imagine you had some sort of mental or physical dissability. There are lots of ways you could get help, but a specific something sticks out the most. Her mother was distraught when Chen Fang was born a female and was never able to truly acknowledge her as her daughter. Her father left when she was a baby to remarry. Since her mother told her father that she was a boy she crossdressed all the way into her teens. Courageous Characters Communities have a very big impact on people’s lives, especially in science fiction stories. Many inspire courage for a character in times of need. Four pieces of text illustrate this perfectly: “The Last Dog,” by Katherine Patterson; “Harrison Bergeron,” by Kurt Vonnegut; The Monsters are Due on Maple Street by Rod Serling; and The Giver by Lois Lowry. Each community in these stories influenced the main character’s courage in a difficult situation.

Even though many people believe emotional support dogs are considered service dogs and should have the same rights as the others, owners of service dogs are treated unfairly because of the increase in numbers of fake service dogs. This affects the ability for one to use a service dog to its full potential. People cannot be asked to leave a public place if the business thinks it is a fake dog because some service dogs are simply under-trained. The population of those using fake service dogs or emotional support animals are ruining the ability for the disabled to use them without being questioned.
Diabetic Alert Dogs are specially trained service dogs. Because of this, they can be placed under the same standards and rules for other service dogs. The point of a service dog is to improve their owner’s life and independence, whether they need assistance because of physical or psychiatric disabilities (autism included) no matter their age or developmental stage. Diabetic Alert Dogs are trained to recognize hypoglycemic episodes and according to an article in Podiatry Review, “For many individuals with brittle diabetes who get no warning of such an episode these dogs are truly lifesavers.” (p. 1).
There is a long standing debate on whether generic drugs are as effective and safe as the branded drug. A brand name drug is a medicine that is discovered, developed, and marketed by a pharmaceutical company and is protected by a patent. A generic drug is said to be a bioequivalent of the branded drug and does not have a patent by it self and is manufactured and marketed only after the expiration of the branded drugs patent. Brand name drugs are well known and trusted but are expensive. Generic drugs are less expensive than the brand name drugs but drugs are not always trusted by the people.
However, this determination sometimes appears to be obsessive to the point of running her daughter’s life for her. Regardless, she is only trying to help, as she encourages Jing Mei by asserting “‘You can be best anything.’” (1). Because of this, it suggests that although she is very harsh on her daughter at times, it is only to make sure that Jing Mei can use her full potential and not end up losing everything like her
Humans and animals are loyal, friendly, and understanding species which allows them to understand each other. People and animals are like no other, they can share a special bond and learn to love one another other. But, there are reasons why they are so loyal to one and other, why they are friendly to one and other, and why they understand each other. These bonds are often unbreakable. One way people and animals get along is when they show loyalty to each other.
