We have heard about many charitable , missionary and social service organizations working in the most extremely violent and harsh environments. World vision international is one of them. World Vision is a Christian humanitarian aid development and advocacy organization founded in 1950 by (Dr. Robert Pierce, a young churchman and missionary who later went on to become the American Baptist minister in 1940. In 1950, the earlier incident led him to building a dedicated organization for the welfare of the children worldwide. He decided he has to improve the betterment of the children around the world and work on providing them with better living conditions. At the end of Korean War, when countless orphans returned the sponsorship for children was started. Pierce due to his continuous hard work and commitment remained at the head of World Vision for nearly two decades. World Vision was initiated with the will of one man trying to help one child in one country with the amount of just $5, as according to history of world vision this $5 can actually make a difference and save an innocent soul from overall destruction. When their organization started in early 1950, the approach was simple; they managed food and shelter for children in orphanages through child sponsorship programs.
