The habit that I have is constantly on my phone while driving. The main reason I wanted to break this have is because, I know that this habit isn’t healthy or safe for me. This habit has detrimental me and variety of ways, it has taken away my focus from driven. I have notice that on several occasions I’ve had to slam on breaks, because I was about to run into another vehicle. Realizing that I’m using my cellphone the entire time. When I’m driving if I’m not texting, I’m talking on the phone or checking my social media. Sometimes, I find myself at the red light looking down at my phone and the car behind me is blowing their horn. The cue of this habit is that it normally occurred when inside of my car no matter what time. Normally, It’s my mother and son who is around. I tend to feel excited, when I’m able to check my phone while driving. The most reward thing I can give myself after falling through with trying to better my habit is the ability to invest in a headset. The headset is the most rewarding thing because it will allow me to focus more on the road rather than constantly looking down. The most rewarding thing will be I’ll be less active involving my phone and causing disturbance to other drivers while on the highway. The routine that I’m going to implement is by purchasing ear-buds or using my auto-play in car that allows you to give hand free commands while driving. For instance, you can tell auto-play who to call or text with have to be distracted. The habit that I was seeking to change I didn’t full change it, but I can say I made a few changes towards making a difference in my habit. I notice using the ear-buds became useful in me being less active in my phone. I focus more on the road and realized the importance and the consequences of texting/talking while
