When thinking of Central America, we typically think of Mexico, the Caribbean's, and Guatemala; however, I think of Belize. Belize is currently developing country and is continuing to grow. Louise is currently working on their government, very calming their health care system in our education system. Belize is an absolutely beautiful country, filled with multiple tourist’s attractions, wildlife, and beautiful scenery. As well as, an interview of someone who has personally been to Belize and seen various varieties of what the countries like I was able to draw many conclusions about Belize. According to Hathcock, Belize has had a significant growth in their economy, due to a fiscal reform. According to Falke, (2011), said that 40 percent of the people who live in Belize live under the poverty line. The average income per capita in 1991 was $2772, according to Belize, 2002. The money comes from three main economic systems, agriculture, industries, and tourism, Belize 2002. Also Belize 2000 said, that agricultural economy make 16 percent of GPD with products like to sugarcane, citrus fruit, bananas, mangoes, honey, beans, rice, and cattle. The industry economies make 17 percent of GDP with things like clothes, fruit, and beverages, Belize 2000. Tourism is contributing 18 percent to the GPD, according to Belize 2000. Hofstede would place Belize in the long-term orientation value dimension because (focused on the next years to come, the future) they have to think about were there money is going to go, due to the fact of their economic systems. They fall into the restraint value dimension (more constrictive, keep things strict) because of their low incomes, having to think about how they spend their money, where they spend their money, and what they spend it
