I’m a freshmen here at Oakland Community College, and I’m planning to get my associates in science. I want to transfer to Oakland University to study Industrial and Systems Engineering. I went to Avondale High School. I was on the swim/dive, gymnastics, and softball throughout high school. My hobbies are going to the gym, watching Netflix, hanging with my friends/ family, and doing my homework. My strengths are I know when to ask for help, when I am struggling. Another one is I always push myself to do my best, even when times get really hard. Also I make sure to get everything done on time. I also have a job but it is only during the summer. When writing my paper I make sure to cite and write in MLA format. Before I start to write my paper I try to brainstorm all my thoughts ahead of time. If I do not do a brainstorm, then I start writing until I have ideas for the paper that flow. When writing about a book, I make sure to summarize what information is important. I have become a lot better at summarizing details that I read. I am able to explain in good detail of what I have read. After I finish my paper, I make sure to read it out loud. I do that to make sure it flows correctly, and I to make sure I used the correct words. I also read it out loud to find the errors I have made when writing. I been using paper rater to find the mistakes I missed when I was reading over my paper. After I have finished writing, I go to my tutor so she can read it over and find the mistakes I could not find. She has been very helpful in finding the mistakes I could not find. Also I have my peers read over it to give me feedback on how to make different changes in my paper. They are very helpful with that
