World War I was a violent and fearful time. With its massive loss of more than 16 million death count, it stands on one of the most violent war ever known to mankind. By digging deeper into its origin, the direct cause of World War I was the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria-Hungary, but by breaking down everything, there is five major causes of World War One. They are, The Alliance System, Nationalism, and Assassination. But these are only few of many. Alliance was one of the biggest cause. It was due to how mad the people were from the assassination of Archduke. Some tried to stop the upcoming war but even still their effort wasn’t enough. The man Archduke Franz Ferdinand was he was from a royal family so Austria declare war on Serbia, who was responsible for the assassination. WW1 could have been stopped in some way if Austria wasn’t so mad. Assassination is by far the biggest cause of WW1, it was the main reason why everything started and without the assassination, WW1 would have never started. It was June 28, 1914. Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife was visiting Sarajevo. Both were having a great time until a bullet took its place, both Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife were shot dead. Who was responsible for this? Gavrilo Princip, who came from Serbia. And thus a month later, began the first part of World War I. In short, Gavrilo Princip assassinated Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife. After the assassination, Austria was fueled with anger and declare war on Serbia. And so, calls for allies to fight along. But these are only a few reasons of the cause of World War I.
