World War II started on September 1, 1939 and ended on September 2, 1945. World War II was the most destructive conflict in history. It cost more money, damaged more property, killed more people, and caused more far-reaching changes than any other war in history. World War II caused a lot of issues in the world like the expansion of the holocaust, which caused the death camps, concentration camps, extermination camps, etc. The historical impact on WWII is one of the biggest impact on America. Hitler's nazi party created the holocaust which made the holocaust a bigger outcome than ever before. World War II was one of the biggest impact on America. During WWII over 60 million people died during World War II(3% of 1940 population), 418,500 civilian and military deaths in the US. The number of people killed, wounded, or missing between September 1, 1939 and September 2, 1945 can never be calculated, but it is estimated that more than 55 million people perished.
