The causes of the Great War (WWI) were the alliance systems, colonial conflicts, the crisis in the Balkans, and the ability for mass mobilization. Before the Great War started many countries were already developed and others were starting to develop, we had countries with strong economic powers and others that were emerging.
On November 11, 1918, the 11th day of the 11th month, Germany signed an armistice, ending what was called by the people the War to end all Wars. Little did they know, World War 2 would break out only years later. The rise of Adolf Hitler, a German Politician, led to the outbreak of World War 2. Hitler created the idea of Lebensraum, a German living space, which fired up the German people. With the support of his people, Hitler rearmed the German military, which went against the terms of the Treaty of Versailles.
WWII began between two groups of countries, allies and axis. During the war a German man named, Adolf Hitler, started an invasion on many countries. He controlled a group called the Nazis. Their thinking was that nobody that was “perfect,” unless they were German. They mainly attacked the Jewish.
Hitler wanted to create a perfect race of people and to create it, he killed off those that were not suited for his perfect world. In this group were homosexuals, people with disabilities, and Jewish people. They were taken to camps where they dropped like flies. One of the many horrors of the death camps were the crematoriums, where people were burned alive. Small children and babies were thrown into pits of fire because they could not work.

What happened: Prior to his election of Prime Minister, the British were hesitant and looking for compromises to avoid Nazi ruling while keeping the British safe. Instead, Churchill belives the complete opposite. According to his philosophies, such an unjust force must be put to an end by waging war against Germany. To him, the lives and toil necessary are irrelevant as there is no other alternative.

Moreover, the Aryan race, which he dubbed supreme to all others. He wanted to terminate all of those who did not fall into his ideals of what was perfection (Rossle 14).
