The results of the second survey showed an improvement in their understanding and knowledge which influenced positively on their AVB. The video outlining how dangerous speeding is, was displayed in a PC class. After this video was shown the second survey was conducted by a few classes to represent the year 12 students’ AVB towards speeding. A number of key questions were similar to those on the first survey was to identify any improvement in knowledge and understanding, and if personal skills where developed through the use of the video displayed. The questions were also created to enable a direct comparison between the shift in AVB.
In order to provide an insight of safety consideration for exceeding speed limit of the Year 12 students, Question 4 was designed. There was 68% of them choose the correct answer that limiting speed must not be exceeded. 68% is a vast improvement from the first survery where only 44 % of them answered correctly. (Refer in appendix). Since more students are aware of the tragedy of speeding related road trauma, this provided evidence that refined attirudes in regards to speeding have been developed positively and impacted substantially. …show more content…

A closely monitored peer education program is a substantial proportion of adolescents. In order to raise youth’s awareness of health, an organization enforced a program that combined extensive and effective peer education with mass media messages. Significant, positive changes were statistically found in youth’s behaviors. Due to the strong Peer education component, these changes to wide exposure to the program (Publication, 2008). This statistics provide evidence that video where effective indeveloping personal skills on making clear understanding of speeding and potential effects.
