My group did our podcast on the zodiac killer. The zodiac killer is a serial who operated in northern California in the late 1960s and early 1970s. His identity remains unknown. I think he was never caught because he is a smart person. I think he is a smart person because think about it, he was never caught, he is probably still walking the streets till this day, a free man. Some people might disagree with my hypothesis. They might say he got lucky.

I think the zodiac killer mostly targeted couples, teens and college students. And all of the crime scenes happen in a outside environment. I think he only targeted couples because maybe he had relationship problems, commitment problems or maybe he was just really, really lonely. I think he targeted teens and college students because maybe he’s just that shallow type of person who likes killing young people. Maybe he wanted to take away young lives. Maybe he had a bad childhood and wants to ruin other young lives as well. And I think he targets people outside because it might be easier for him.

The zodiac killer was active in the dates 1960s–1970s. During this time period Women, African Americans, Native Americans, gays and lesbians and other marginalized people continued their fight for equality, and many Americans joined the protest against the ongoing war in Vietnam.
