The conflict of my book is person vs. fate. I think it is this because her parents are divorced and her mom goes nuts and she can’t control that or do anything that could help.
2.) Identify and describe the climax from your novel.
The climax is when Zoey’s parents get divorced and she can tell her mom gets depressed and overdoses on sleeping pills (trying to kill herself). Her mom gets put in the looney bin and then Zoey gets in a car accident and forgets everything from that night, as you keep reading Zoey tries to remember what happen.

This book starts off with her parents getting a divorce. She compared the feeling she is having now to when she almost drowned in the ocean and no was there to help her.
Zoey’s dad gets a young girl pregnant and once her mom found out she tried to kill herself. Zoey finds her that night when she got home from work and calls for help.
After all of that she moves in with her dad and the chick he got pregnant. Her dad told her not to tell anyone about her mom. She then gets in the wreck and her dad thinks she was trying to ruin his wedding.
Doug saved Zoey after her wreck and she didn’t know who he was. She thought he could help her remember what happen. She thought he was the one she wrecked into but she really collided into. A guy named Mark was the guy she collided with, while they both were swerving from a deer. Zoey’s dad puts cameras in the house to watch what she does at all times when he is gone.
Zoey and Doug became very close after her mom comes to one of her swim meets from the looney house because she dreamed Zoey was drowning and that is when everyone finds out her mom was
